How did you get started in Photography?
I pretty much fell into it. I started shooting video of my friends snowboarding, skateboarding, surfing and skimboarding and making them sponsorship videos. I worked for X-Games, Gravity Games and The American Ski Company back in the day. Then I moved to California to finish a video that I was producing called "Seasons Change" While I was there My girlfriend at the time would get offers to model all the time so we invested in a still camera and I started shooting her all the time. It came natural having a background in video. As I progressed she did as well, we both grow together and landed some pretty big jobs with Anheuser-Busch and the E! Network. We landed a contract with the Hit Show "Wild On E!" I was the Segment Producer and she was a Guest host for a 20 week tour. It was a blast. Now my passion is Photography

What types of models do you seek to work with?
I''m looking to work with models that want to create images that are pushing their limits. My shoots are on the edge, and very sexy. I''m really laid back and try to have fun working with my models. Most of the models I work with are very confident and comfortable with themselves. I look forward to working with some highly creative confident models. I''m willing to work with you on ideas that you may have, I also like to collaborate with MUA''s and models as well.

What do you love most about photography?
What I love most is meeting new people, helping people accomplish their dreams, going to new places traveling with friends and getting paid for it. There''s always something new to learn and shoot everyday. Most of all I like the learning how lighting works. It''s cool to capture a glimpse of beautiful natural light and it''s also fun to manipulate it in the studio. I enjoy  the reaction''s models have when they get their pictures back . It''s very rewarding.

Did you ever go to school for photography?
The answer is No. I read all about it and studied lighting on my own time and spent countless hrs shooting and practicing different looks, I''ve been very fortunate to get noticed by Lou Maggio from Venus Swim-wear, who put me in contact with two Very accomplished photographers Jim Arbogast and Jorge Alvarez all three of them have really helped me out and give me hope for a future in this business. "Special thanks to all of you!" Also to all the models I''ve had the pleasure working with!

What should a model bring with her on a shoot?
They should bring their own wardrobe unless otherwise noted by the photographer. Makeup, props, hair products, accessories, money, oil or something to shine up your skin. A great attitude, confidence and a creative open mind!

Do you ever offer Tfp/Tfcd?
Only if it is an exceptional model that will add to my existing portfolio or thats chosen to be on the thekindgirls.com site. I very rarely do time for prints. I''m pretty booked with paid shoots.

I have a few different makeup artists I work with. Some packages include the makeup for one look. You''re welcome to do your own, but I highly recommend using a professional one.

Does every model you work with get to be on your site?
The answer to that is no. I chose certain models based on the images we get to be featured on my site. It''s nothing personal, I just want a certain look and feel to be on my site. If you''re asked to be on the site, a release form will have to be signed.
